Entries across all age groups were outstanding – poignant, challenging and creative representations of how the children and young people feel about their experience of JIA. News, 26 Sep JIA Residential Weekend – How the Weekend Went Despite the monsoon weather conditions, mud, bunk beds and plastic plates, this weekend was a true reflection of how children and young people with JIA and their families can come together and truly benefit from peer support. Both the children and parents left feeling less isolated, empowered and more informed. News, 13 Jul Family Day 2017 – Photos After what was said to have been the wettest June for 30 years the sun shone on the JIA-at- NRAS Family Fun Day on 1 July, which was again held at Nell Bank, Ilkley in West Yorkshire. News, 13 Apr East of England Fun Day: Photos This year the event was held at the Athenaeum, an 18th Century building right on the main square in Bury St Edmunds. The afternoon included lots of fun craft activities for the children and young people and a photo booth, while the parents and relatives who came along attended informative sessions with a host of Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) from the East of England’s Paediatric rheumatology team. News, 29 Jul Family Day 2016: A wonderful day! This year we held our Annual Family Fun Day in a different venue and in a rather beautiful part of the country and not only did we delight in some amazing northern hospitality but also fantastic Yorkshire sunshine. News, 06 May Wear Purple For JIA 2016: An amazing day! NRAS have had a fun morning supporting Lynette and friends (founders of Wear Purple For JIA) by donning anything purple we could get our hands on, including wigs, t-shirts and bras! We are very proud that #WearPurpleForJIA 2016 is supporting us and have been overwhelmed by the commitment of so many families and schools to support this day. Thank you!
