News, 13 Jul 2017 Family Day 2017 – Photos After what was said to have been the wettest June for 30 years the sun shone on the JIA-at- NRAS Family Fun Day on 1 July, which was again held at Nell Bank, Ilkley in West Yorkshire. News, 24 May 2017 Safe in School – Health Conditions in Schools Alliance Over 1 million pupils live with long term medical conditions in the UK! The Health Conditions in School Alliance (HSA) is working hard to make sure these children get the right care and support they need in school. We are a proud member of the HSA and work with them regularly to improve support for people with JIA in schools. News, 13 Apr 2017 East of England Fun Day: Photos This year the event was held at the Athenaeum, an 18th Century building right on the main square in Bury St Edmunds. The afternoon included lots of fun craft activities for the children and young people and a photo booth, while the parents and relatives who came along attended informative sessions with a host of Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) from the East of England’s Paediatric rheumatology team. News, 02 Mar 2017 My visit to the Department of Education On Monday this week I visited officials at the Department of Education in London, together with colleagues from the Health Conditions in School Alliance (HCSA), to share their communication expertise and to discuss possible plans for them to endorse and promote a video the HCSA has produced.
