JIA Awareness Week 202603 June 2026 This JIA Awareness Week, we’re shining a light on the emotional realities of living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) by sharing the powerful lived experiences of some of our brave community members. The week takes place from Monday 13th July, to Friday 17th July 2026. Throughout the week, we’ll be taking a closer look at what life with JIA really looks like for one particular young person and their family. From navigating diagnosis and treatment to managing school, friendships, family life and the emotional impact of a lifelong condition, their story shows an honest insight into the challenges, resilience and strength within our community. Many people have little understanding of what JIA is or how significantly it can affect a young person’s life. This year’s awareness week aims to change that by helping more people understand the journey faced by those living with JIA, the impact it has on those supporting the young person and how we can all play a role in supporting and advocating for young people with the condition. We’d love your help in spreading awareness and amplifying these important voices. Here’s how you can get involved: Share our JIA Awareness Week content on social media and with your networks throughout the week. Tell your story. If you live with JIA, or support a child or young person who does, we’d love to hear about your experiences and what you would like others to understand. Help start conversations by talking to friends, family, colleagues and healthcare professionals about JIA and the importance of understanding its impact. Together, we can increase awareness, build understanding, and help ensure that every young person living with JIA feels seen, heard and supported. Thank you for being part of our community and helping us raise awareness this JIA Awareness Week.
