Here are some ideas to help you get started: Once you have your Wear Purple pack goodies, take it into your school or nursery to get them involved and agree to taking part. Get the school to add it to the school newsletter or send it via email to parent contacts. Ask classmates to donate £1 or a suitable donation on the day. Order your official merchandise here! Order your pack Organise a Purple Bake Sale at School Hosting a Purple Bake Sale with your friends at school can be fun, with delicious fairy cakes and cookies for everyone, and plenty of purple icing and decorations! Get permission to hold a bake sale at your school by asking your headteacher or school council. Ask the PTA and classmates for help and also make sure all allergen information is displayed on your cakes! Wear Purple at Work No matter how big or small your company, there are several ways you can support #WearPurpleforJIA. With a charity partnership or charity event, you, your company and your colleagues can help to raise vital awareness of JIA and help to support children and young people in the UK who live with the condition and rely on NRAS for support. To help publicise your event you could change your email signature temporarily to include information on the fundraising activity. Your HR department will know if the company operates a “matched giving” policy so the funds you raise could be doubled! Here are some ideas to get you started: If you are now back in the office with your colleagues: The Great Office Bake-offEveryone loves eating cake and we bet there are people in your office who love baking it too! Set a date for your bake-off and email your colleagues asking any star bakers to enter the competition. Quiz TimeWe have produced a downloadable quiz so it is all ready to go! You can quiz in the office or use Zoom to host a quiz night or quiz lunch for colleagues! Quiz in teams or alone and ask for a small donation from each participant to raise funds. Guess the BabyAsk everyone in the team to send you a baby photo of them and again either do this as a virtual event or if in your office space pin up photos. All just for fun!
