JIA Awareness Week 2024 #ThisisJIA is our JIA AW 2024 campaign, taking place from 15th- 21st July. The social media campaign aims to raise awareness of how JIA, although a disease diagnosed during childhood, can impact those affected by the disease in so many different ways, at varying stages of life. #ThisIsJIAJIA Awareness Week was launched in 2022 in order to raise awareness of the condition by educating and informing friends, family and the general population about what Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) is and the affect it can have on people’s lives. Our previous campaigns #SameJIADifferentDay (2022) and #BustingJIAMyths (2023) proved to be a huge success thanks to the involvement of so many of the JIA community, and this year we hope to make it even bigger and spread the word even further! This year’s campaign, #ThisIsJIA, aims to raise awareness of how JIA, although a disease diagnosed during childhood, can impact those affected by the disease in so many different ways, at varying stages of life. We are going to be sharing the stories of children, young people, parents, adults, siblings and indeed anyone affected by JIA on our website and across our social media platforms by way of video and written blogs; and in doing so, we hope to create a sense of shared experience and community as well as inform and educate a wider audience.Enter our FREE Prize DrawFollow 3 easy steps on our ‘Enter our competition’ post on Facebook or Instagram to win 1 of 5 £20 Amazon vouchers!
